Our fall concert, Choral Tapestry, traces the many musical threads that have shaped the American choral tradition. Featuring works by Brent Michael Davids, Amy Beach, Moses Hogan, Aaron Copland, André J. Thomas, Bob Dylan, Elliott Carter, and others, the program journeys from the enduring beauty of hymns and spirituals to the spirited rhythms of bluegrass, the storytelling of folksongs, and the distinctive voices of Indigenous musical traditions. Together, these works invite us to listen across cultures, generations, and landscapes—and to discover the connections woven through our shared musical heritage.

Both Sides Now, our spring concert, turns inward, exploring the many dimensions of love. Through works by Morten Lauridsen, Paul Sjolund, Libby Larsen, Joni Mitchell, Claudio Monteverdi, Billy Joel, and others, the program moves from devotion and partnership to playful and satirical love, songs of the heart, and the poignant experience of love and loss. Together, these works reveal love in all its complexity—tender, passionate, humorous, bittersweet, and deeply human.
